I haven't really let people know about this new blog attempt because I'm still trying to get the kinks out of learning the new format.
But I did send the link out to a few people & I'm starting to post links to it from other places - so I just thought I'd post a quick update since I haven't posted anything in a bit and since I can no longer post pictures on my old website.
Unfortunately, my old site is kaput. I spent over an hour on the phone with mac support last weekend and we did finally determine that there is some corrput file somewhere that is preventing me from posting new stuff (or editing old stuff, for that matter). I'm pretty bummed about that - I've loved having that site for the past few years and I'm sad that it's all done. I do have some ideas about how to recreate it, but it will be a time consuming process & free time is not something that I have an abundance of right now - so I'm not sure if that'll ever happen or not. Meanwhile, the
old site is still available for viewing if you want to see it.
Now I'm tring to use this new format - but I.m running into some roadblocks with the format here on blogger. I may be missing something that will allow me to arrange the posts in a better way, but so far I can't find it. I've spent a few hours trying to get it right but it's still not working out the way I want.
So - the jury is still out as to weather I'll continue to use this blogger format or if I'll try to ressurect/redo my old site on the familiar iweb format that I've known for the past few years.
I do like that I can access this from work! That's a plus!!
We're off to Hawaii next week for a little vacation. It'll be Maddie's first time there in person (she was there with me just a few weeks before she was born. ) We're looking forward to it! Pictures coming soon.
